What Obie Is

Obie is an informational tool that helps you understand medical bills and Explanations of Benefits (EOBs). Obie analyzes your documents, flags potential errors, and suggests actions you can take.

Obie is not a medical provider, law firm, or financial advisor. Nothing provided by Obie constitutes medical advice, legal advice, or a guarantee of any billing outcome. Obie helps you understand what you’ve been charged and whether it’s worth questioning — the decisions are yours.

Your Account

You can use Obie without an account for a single analysis. Creating a free account gives you 2 additional analyses. An Obie Pro subscription provides unlimited analyses and access to all features.

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You may delete your account at any time from your Account page, which permanently removes your profile, cases, analyses, and all associated data.

Subscriptions and Billing

Obie Pro is available as a monthly ($4.99/month) or annual ($39/year) subscription, billed through Stripe. Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled. You can cancel at any time from your Stripe billing portal — cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period.

Refund requests are handled on a case-by-case basis. Contact us at getobie.co@gmail.com if you believe you were charged in error.

Acceptable Use

Obie is designed for analyzing medical bills and EOBs. You agree not to:

• Upload documents that are not medical bills, EOBs, or related healthcare documents
• Submit documents belonging to someone else without their consent
• Attempt to circumvent usage limits or rate limits
• Use Obie for any unlawful purpose

Your Documents

You retain ownership of all documents you upload. By submitting a document, you grant Obie permission to process it for analysis. Your documents are sent to Anthropic’s AI service for analysis and are not used to train AI models. See our Privacy Policy for full details on how your data is handled.

Limitation of Liability

Obie is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. Obie’s analysis is generated by AI and may contain errors or inaccuracies. You should independently verify any information before acting on it, especially before making payments, filing appeals, or making healthcare decisions.

Obie is not liable for any billing disputes, claim denials, missed deadlines, financial losses, or other outcomes resulting from your use of the service. Our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid for the service in the 12 months preceding your claim.

Termination

You may stop using Obie and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms. If we terminate your account, we will make reasonable efforts to notify you and provide access to your data before deletion.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. If we make significant changes, we will notify you through the app or by email. Continued use of Obie after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
